Registered Clinical Counsellor

LET'S DO THIS... TOGETHER.

Shirvin

My Counselling Philosophy

I believe that we have most of the tools we need to take on the different hurdles in our lives. What might be missing is a new perspective that can come from a therapeutic relationship. I offer an open, safe, and non-judgmental space to all individuals who are looking to dive deep and explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

As each person has their own set of experiences and challenges, I strive to support clients in a tailored way so change is promoted and encouraged. My intention is to provide clients with tangible tools and strategies to foster change as well as the opportunity to feel vulnerable in a safe space.

I celebrate and welcome diversity in my practice. Regardless of how you identify yourself, I am here to support you.

Experience and Education

I have over 15 years of combined experience, including volunteering with the Crisis Text Lines at Kids Help Phone, working as a Program Manager and Virtual Health Coach for a substance use clinic, and currently, as a Clinical Counsellor at Pain BC. I also provide support in areas including youth in neglect, addictions, generational trauma, anxiety, and depression.
